Arriving to Barcelona was usually a dream come true for most soccer players in the last decade, but for some few, it turns into the worst nightmare. It is the case of this very talented player who is now struggling to play some minutes in the first team, and is barely considered by Ronald Koeman.

He signed for FC Barcelona last September 1, after the Spanish club paid $72 million for his transfer. Apart from that, he signed a four season contract that reportedly paid him $12 million per year. But despite a solid debut, he only played five games from the start out of 15 appearances during this season in La Liga.

Despite that, we are sure that Miralem Pjanic thinks it’s too early to give up, and still wants to have chances in Ronald Koeman’s team. The 30-year-old Bosnian is a very talented midfielder, that’s why Barcelona paid that much to Juventus, but with Sergio Busquets’ experience, Frenkie De Jong’s talent and the rising wonders Riqui Puig, Pedri and Ilaix Moriba, his situation is not easy.

Apart from his 15 appearances for the domestic league, he played in other seven UEFA Champions League games, two for the Spanish Super Cup and one more for Copa del Rey. He scored neither a goal nor an assist. As reported by Sport and Mundo Deportivo, the new board that wins the elections could automatically let him go.
