If Cristiano Ronaldo were to move to Monterrey in the Liga MX, the Portuguese star would move to the city of Monterrey in Mexico. Since Ronaldo joined Al Nassr in Saudi Arabia, the Portuguese striker would want to pick Monterrey's most expensive and luxurious areas. Five areas where Ronaldo may want to stay are the Valle de Campestre, Valle Oriente, Unidad Hab San Pedro, Parque Corporativo Santa Engracia, and Villas de San Agustin, according to El CEO.com. One of these areas has areas that showcase mansions that have great views that Ronaldo and his family would love to stay in.

Out of these five areas, the Valle de Campestre area is the most expensive in Monterrey. The Valle Oriente is the other popular choice that Ronaldo may consider staying in since it is a metropolitan area. Some mansions and houses range between $30 million to $68 million in the Valle de Campestre area. The issue with there is how far it is from the Monterrey stadium. The security levels also seem high, and the homes' privacy is also high, including huge gates from the public.

While Valle Oriente and Valle de Campestre are luxurious in terms of homes, both are around 25 minutes away from Monterrey's stadium, the Estadio BBVA. This stadium opened in 2015 and cost around $200 million. Ronaldo may prefer the luxury of living in the Valle area, but it will be a privilege to get to the stadium for matches or for training. The city of Monterrey is the third biggest city in Mexico, and traffic may also be an issue for the Portuguese star in his commute to daily training with the team.

Cristiano Ronaldo's worst choice to live in Monterrey, Mexico

While Ronaldo has options to choose from in the richest areas in Monterrey, the Portuguese strike would need to avoid the Villas de San Agustin. While the area is very luxurious for Ronaldo and his family, the area is more than four hours away from the Monterrey stadium. The Villas de San Agustin is more north of Mexico. The safety in this area is not safe compared to the others provided as it has a large community without options for gated homes.
