Cristiano Ronaldo has a daily routine where he takes five naps a day to help his body recover from training or from football games. At 39 years old, Ronaldo continues to be in great physical shape. The Portuguese striker at Al Nassr has kept a healthy diet for a long time, but the five naps a day help him recover from the intense workouts. According to Sport Bible, Ronaldo started working with sleeping coach Nick Littlehales during his time at Real Madrid, and the Portuguese striker takes naps that last an hour and a half in a fetal position.

Ronaldo's unique method of sleep starts after dinner and continues throughout the next day. The Portuguese star would nap until midnight and have another nap around 3 am before staying his day. Short naps a day for as many as five to six times a day is claimed to be a better method of recovery rather than the recommended eight hours every night.

Ronaldo's sleeping coach, Nick Littlehales, spoke to Record about the multiple naps Ronaldo started doing a couple of years ago and said, "It is not a nap; this is for older people who watch television. It is a way to sleep less, but to improve recovery." Ronaldo needs the most recovery possible in Saudi Arabia due to the heat during training sessions. Ronaldo told LiveScore, " The biggest difference I have found in Saudi is obviously the heat and adapting schedules to train later in the data when it is cooler. But I have really gotten used to that now."
