The Mexican company that could make Cristiano Ronaldo's move to Monterrey in Liga MX possible is FESMA. FESMA is the owner of Monterrey CF and is the fifth-largest company in Mexico. The Mexican company reported revenues of $26.9 billion in 2019, according to CNN Expansion. The company could possibly make the Ronaldo signing possible by offering the Portuguese a salary similar to what he earned at Manchester United a few years ago. Ronaldo currently earns $200 million a year and $3.8 million a week, which are huge numbers compared to what he earned in England. At Manchester United, Ronaldo earned $31.5 million a year and earned $593,018 a week.

FESMA made the complete purchase of Monterrey in 2006 and has invested in the new Estadio BBVA stadium that holds 51,000 seats. The company invested around $200 million in the stadium that replaced the Estadio Tecnologico, which was Monterrey's stadium from 1950 to 2015. Since the investment of FESMA of Monterrey CF, the club has won four league titles and two Mexican cups. The club has played in four FIFA Club World Cups and won four CONCACAF Champions League.

Ronaldo would be motivated to play for league titles constantly since, in Mexico, there are two league camps during the year that run from January to May and July to December. Ronaldo could want to collect multiple league titles with Monterrey before he retires from professional football. Monterrey currently has five league titles in its history. If the Portuguese star joins Monterrey in the summer, he could be offered a two-year contract and try to win four consecutive league titles to put the club with nine league titles ahead of clubs like Santos Laguna, Pachuca, Pumas UNAM, Club Leon, and their rivals Tigres UNAL.
