As very few times in the past this summer transfer market is promising some incredible free transfers among the biggest clubs in the world. Huge names like Lionel Messi, Sergio Ramos or Sergio Agüero see their contracts expiring at the end of the season and most of them seem to be done with the negotiations for an extension that will not happen.

No what can be better than getting Lionel Messi for free in summer? Many of you and us would say that nothing can beat that but if you ask the board of Paris Saint Germain, they could tell you otherwise. It seems that they have different plans instead of bringing the Argentinian legend to France for next season.

The Parisian board does not think Lionel Messi is a priority. That could mean a few things: it was said that selling Kylian Mbappé a year before his contract runs out (June 2022) was necessary to be able to afford such a transfer. Is the French winger finally staying? Is it impossible to sign Messi? Is he staying in Barcelona?

According to Spanish newspaper Mundo Deportivo the biggest target for PSG is to bring Sergio Ramos to give some fresh air to the defense and possibly replace Presnel Kimpembe, Timo Kehrer, or Marquinhos. He seems to be set to finish a 15-year long spell in Real Madrid and drop La Liga for Ligue 1.
