Pelé revealed when he found out he has two more children

Pele has had a private life a bit messy, although it was not as public in media as it happened with Diego Maradona. But the Brazilian legend, who turned 80 years old, has had five children in first, but later discovered he had two more. About that, he has just made a confession. On February 23, a documentary on his life is coming out on Netflix, in which not only his professional life will be shown, but also his personal side.

During his life, Pelé got married three times and had seven children. Five from these seven were conceived with his two first wives: Rosemeri dos Reis Cholbi (1966 – 1978) and Assíria Lemos Seixas (1994 – 2008). His last wedding was in 2016, marrying Marcia Aoki, but they had no children. However, after, the last two were known.

The mother of the first one is Anisia Machado, his housekeeper. She gave birth to Sandra, who died in 2006, and whose family relationship was confirmed by the court only in 1996. The other one is Flavia, who is now 52 years old. Pele had her after his involvement with Brazilian journalist Lenita Kurtz.

In the documentary he confesses to have had many affaires during his night life, and a few of them brought new children to the world. His son Edinho, who played for Santos like his father, but later fell in jail due to money laundering and drug dealing. He was initially sentenced to 33 years in prison, in 2017 it was reduced to 12 years, and later was released under probation.
