Radio Marca reports that Kylian Mbappé has agreed to forgive $136.6 million to PSG in the exit agreement they reached for leaving as a free agent. Mbappé's contract with PSG expires this summer, and since he promised before that he would renew it, this fee would satisfy the French club so they could find a replacement for the French star. Mbappé is set to join Real Madrid this summer on a free transfer with a reduced salary to the one he has at PSG.
From the $136.6 million, Mbappé will reportedly sacrifice $95.7 million from loyalty bonuses and renewal bonuses. $40.8 million from his salary at PSG would also go into the $136.6 million the star will pay to PSG to complete his departure from the French giants to Real Madrid. PSG would use this money to find replacements for Mbappé this summer. Names like Victor Osimhen from Napoli and Lamine Yamal from FC Barcelona are already linked to the French club.
Mbappé reportedly earns $1.4 million a week at PSG and earns a yearly salary of $76.7 million. The French star also reportedly earns bonuses of $63 million, which puts him at a total of 140.7 million. At Real Madrid, Mbappé would reportedly earn a salary worth $32 to $37.4 million with a signing bonus of $106.8 million. Mbappé would instantly be the top earner in the Real Madrid squad ahead of Vinicius Jr. and Jude Bellingham. Toni Kroos is currently the top earner at the Spanish giants, with a yearly salary of $25 million.
Mbappé has the opportunity to win another league title with PSG as they face Lorient at the Stade du Moustoir. If PSG wins the match and AS Monaco drops points against Lille, then Mbappé would win his 6th Ligue 1 title with PSG and the 7th of his career. His first league title was in 2017 with AS Monaco. Mbappé has arrived at Lorient for the match today.
