On October 1st, EA Sports will release the latest instalment of its popular football simulation video game, FIFA 22. This will follow the tradition since 2003 with EA Sports dishing out new updates in late September or early October of every year. This year's edition, FIFA 22 will have Kylian Mbappe as its global cover star amongst many other exciting features. These are all the details of the new FIFA 22.

EA Sports' FIFA 22 will be available on the next-gen consoles of PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. The game will also be available to users of Windows, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
Gamers of FIFA on Nintendo Switch were able to get the Squad Update for FIFA 21 rather than the new game. This is likely to be the case with the new 'Legacy Edition' of the game for FIFA 22.
Like in FIFA 21, Google Stadia users should have access to FIFA 22 on their consoles. The disappointment of missing out on FIFA 20 when Google Stadia was launched in 2019 should be gone now.

The price for FIFA 22 will be £59.99 for the standard edition in both the United Kingdom and the United States. This is the same price as for FIFA 21. Gamers can save up to 10% if they pre-order the game.
For FIFA 22, there would only be an Ultimate Edition in the Special Versions category. EA Sports has decided to discontinue the Champions Edition for FIFA 22. Thus, the Ultimate Edition will cost £89.99 or $99.99 on the Xbox and PlayStation official stores.
