He was going to be the new Lionel Messi, he played for FC Barcelona and now they axe him from MLS

The story of Bojan Krkic is very hard to understand and justify. The attacker was formed in La Masia and played for the first team from FC Barcelona since 2007 to 2011. He was even compared to Lionel Messi, saying that he could be the successor of the Argentinian legend.

But things advanced in a way he wasn’t probably expecting and at the age of 30 he is not just far away from being Messi, but also axed from an MLS side. The forward transformer into a soccer globetrotter after leaving Barça, as he passed through AS Roma, AC Milan, Ajax, Stoke City, Maguncia, Deportivo Alavés and finally Montreal Impact.

At the Canadian side he joined on August 2019 as a free agent after leaving the Premier League and since then he played 31 matches, scoring seven goals and giving four assists. But after more than a year at the club his contract expired and the option they had to extend it was not used.
