Philip Rivers has shocked the NFL world after announcing his retirement yesterday at the age of 39. “It’s the perfect moment to call time”, he expressed. The legendary quarterback played for San Diego Chargers for over 15 years having lately spells in Los Angeles Chargers.

Rivers has raised a net worth in his football life of around $80 million as per Celebrity Net Worth, having signed contracts for $25 million a year for many seasons in the different teams he played for. Until September 2018 he had raised $188 million only from his salaries. It is sure he will have time to spend money, and money to spend time too.

After a brilliant career in football, showing his magic tricks with the ball and his skills, Ronaldo de Assis Moreira, known as Ronaldinho, retired from football in 2015. Having played in teams like Paris Saint-Germain, AC Milan, Barcelona, and Brazil’s Rio de Janeiro giants Flamengo and Fluminense, he raised a net worth of $90 million. Still, a big part of it went away in parties.

David Beckham played his last game on May 18, 2013 for Paris Saint-Germain, in the beginning of the big financial supremacy of the club in Ligue 1. Earlier, he had a large spell in Manchester United and a wonderful period in Real Madrid. Only in that year he earned more than $47 million from his salary and endorsements. It’s known his net worth climbed up to $450 million.

The last Ballon d’Or award before the kingdom of Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo: Ricardo Izecson dos Santos Leite, commonly known as Kaká. The retired Brazilian quit football at the end of 2017 playing for Orlando City in the MLS. It was reported the raised a net worth of $105 million by the time he was playing his last matches. Earlier, he had a prolific spell in AC Milan.
