The International Federation of History and Statistics has published the CONCACAF ideal XI, in which the Mexicans dominate with 5 elements. The curious things to consider are; The absence of the best player in the Portuguese league, Jesus "tecatito" Corona, the lack of a technical director, the fact that Carlos Salcedo central defender of Club Tigres is the only player of the Liga MX, which can tells us that the level of CONCACAF has increased a lot, as only Europeans from Mexico, Costa Rica, Canada and the United States are the ones who appear in the ideal team.

Something that is not surprising is the dominance of Keylor Navas in the goal, he is undoubtedly the goalkeeper, who continues to maintain a high level in Europe with his team PSG; as the right back is the North American Dest who plays for Ajax de Amsterdam; as central defenders are Carlos Salcedo from Club Tigres and Edson Alvarez from Ajax, although Alvarez plays more as contention in his current club; as a left back the only Canadian in the team, who plays for Bayern Munich, champion of the UEFA Champions League Alphonso Davis.

In the midfield are: the Mexican Héctor Herrera from Atlético Madrid, where his level is irregular and he is not at all an indisputable starter; the North Americans Weston McKennie with 8 games and a goal with Juventus and Giovanni Reyna who plays for Borussia Dortmund.

Finally on the offensive side, the two Mexicans Hirving Lozano from Napoli, who is one of the best in the entire Calcio Serie A with 6 goals and one assist, Raul Jimenez the Wolverhampton striker who is currently injured, but one of the top forwards in Europe and Chritian Pulisic, usual starter with Chelsea FC. Thus the CONCACAF gave its ideal XI. The doubt remains if Araujo, who plays for Celta de Vigo and Jesus Corona from Porto FC deserved to be in the team instead of Pulisic and Edson Alvarez.
