Carlos Vela’s last match at the Mexican International Team was int 2018 and after a total of 88 appearances, the coach seems to be less interested about him. Vela’s season last year was amazing, he scored 34 goals in 31 matches and that made the fans reconsider about having him on the National Team.

The main situation here is the level of Mexican forwards in Europe. If Martino needed to set a team today he would have Raul Jiménez from Wolverhampton, Hirving Lozano from Napoli and Jesús Corona at Porto. This would be a really competitive team for the next world cup if the players keep at this level.

Lozano became a key player at one of the best teams of Italy, he is the leader of the goal corers table with Cristiano Ronaldo right now. Napoli will have a long season playing the Serie A and the Europa League, that means Lozano will get a lot of opportunities to demonstrate his level.

Meanwhile, Jimenez has his best season ever at the Premier League and Wolverhampton is on the seventh spot right now. Besides, Jesús Corona is one of the best players in Portugal right now and he could be bought by a bigger Europe team pretty soon.
