Cruz Azul is working hard on the next renewals. Santiago Giménez and Ángel Romero are at the top of the list: the 'Bebote' wants to improve his contractual situation and ensure his stay, at least, until 2024. The Paraguayan striker, on the other hand, will also be offered a better fee before another club approaches him, given the proximity of the end of his contract, signed until December.

However, there are two other players in similar situations whom the club does not see as priorities. These are Luis Abram and Alejandro Mayorga. Both players finish their respective loan deals in six months and from La Noria they are thinking about what to do with two players who seem to be among Diego Aguirre's 'first-choice' players.

According to information from ESPN reporter León Lecanda, Cruz Azul is taking it easy and will wait until December to decide whether or not to make use of the purchase options in both cases.

How much do the players' transfers cost?

In December it will be decided whether to exercise the purchase options for Alejandro Mayorga (2.8 million dollars) and Luis Abram (4.5 million dollars). Both will start the tournament as starters and have the confidence of coach Diego Aguirre.
