The wives and girlfriends of footballers are getting more recognition and using the popularity of their partners to promote their businesses. Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez are best friends and expectedly so their families are close.

The wives of the two superstars Antonella Roccuzzo and Sofia Babil are best friends, not only best friends but one time business partners. Sofia and Antonella helped Argentine brand Ricky Sarkany have their first store in Europe in 2017 but unfortunately the store situated in Barcelona closed down in 2019 after huge losses.

Sarkany said he was "deeply grateful" for the work done by the two women and that it was "beautiful and unforgettable" but things had to go down. “At this stage they (Roccuzzo and Balbi) need to dedicate themselves to their youngest children.” he told Argentine media outlet Infobae.

Both Antonella and Sofia are childhood and long term sweethearts of Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez, and both sustained the relationship even when they were far apart and today they are happily married to each other with both having three children.
