Liverpool will use the money to buy a Chelsea player. 

After the match against Cercle Bruges, Philippe Clement took for granted the signing of Minamino by Monaco. The Liverpool player has agreed to play in Ligue 1 following the agreement with Liverpool.

According to Fabrizio Romano, the agreement for Minamino is complete. The Japanese player will be transferred to Monaco for a fixed amount of 15 million euros, plus another three million in variables.

What will Liverpool do with that money?

Liverpool have been linked with a move for Chelsea striker Timo Werner, according to Football London.

After losing out on his 2020 move to Chelsea, the Reds are reportedly planning a surprise bid for the German, and that 15 million will be used to complete the striker's 35 million price tag.
