Pep Guardiola's contract with Manchester City expires in the summer of 2025, and rumors of him not renewing his contract leave many to believe that he will leave the English club soon. That brings questions as to where Guardiola will coach next, and one of the clubs that may look to appoint him is his former club, Bayern Munich. Sky Sports Germany reports that Guardiola's camp has replied to the rumors that he will be coaching Bayern Munich again. Pep's camp said, "Pep still has Bayern in his heart, but he doesn't want to leave Manchester City this summer. He's very happy and has a contract until 2025, so returning to Bayern is not an option."

Guardiola spoke recently about Bayern Munich and revealed that he believes he failed at the German club because he didn't win the Champions League. Guardiola said, "I failed at Bayern Munich because I didn't win the Champions League. I would have failed here if Ederson hadn't saved in the last minute against Lukaku. Man City defeated Inter Milan 1-0 in the Champions League final last year.

In an interview with Sky Sports, he was asked if he was surprised that Bayern Munich has not appointed a coach yet. The Spanish manager said, "It's going to happen, a question of time. They will decide on the right one, depending on how they want to play, on the players they have and everything. Sometimes it's more difficult, but they will find him - Bayern always have the resources, people on the board are so smart and intelligent - they will find the right one for them. That's what I wish because I love that club so much."
What is next for Guardiola and Manchester City?
Manchester City, under Guardiola, is close to making more history as the Premier League title is at reach. If Manchester City win the Premier League this season, it would be four consecutive league titles for them. This has never been done by a Premier League team in history. City are second with 82 points but with a game in hand while Arsenal are first with 83 points after 36 games played.
