Kylian Mbappé and PSG say goodbye from the Champions League as Borussia Dortmund defeated them 1-0 and won 2-0 on aggregate. The German team will play in the Champions League final at Wembley Stadium for the first time since 2013. Mbappé has received lots of criticism for his performances in both matches against Dortmund, where he struggled to score. PSG has spent over $2 billion since the Qatari takeover in 2011, and the club is yet to win the Champions League since it has been the goal of the institution for the last decade.

Borussia Dortmund enjoyed this win a lot, not only because they reached the final, but because they got revenge against PSG. Dortmund made history as they never won at the Parc des Princes or even scored a goal. The official Borussia Dortmund English X account made a joke about PSG since the French club made fun of eliminating Dortmund in the 2020 Champions League Round of 16. PSG mocked Erling Haaland's celebration after eliminating Dortmund, and now the club brings the celebration back and writes, "Tastes like fine wine."

Kylian Mbappé's reaction after the game
Mbappé was visibly upset by PSG's elimination from the Champions League, and fans recorded the moment the French star walked off the pitch. Mbappé and PSG will play at the Parc des Princes for the last time this weekend in the Ligue 1 game against Toulouse. This weekend's game could be the last time Mbappé wears a PSG shirt at the Parc des Princes, and the last match for him at the club this season will be against Lyon in the Coupe de France final at the Decathlon Arena-Stade Pierre-Mauroy.
