Cristiano Ronaldo has caught many fans attention with his gesture for one of his former clubs.

Cristiano Ronaldo had a great weekend. He won with Al Nassr in the Saudi Pro League, and they won 6-0 with a hat trick from the Portuguese striker. CR7 celebrated the win with his teammates online, and he also celebrated his former team's achievement. Ronaldo posted and congratulated the league title that Sporting CP won over the weekend, but what many fans noticed is that he did not do the same for Real Madrid. Both Sporting and Real Madrid became league champions on the same weekend, and questions are asked why CR7 only celebrated Sporting's title but not Madrid's, where he played the most games throughout his career.

Ronaldo made a total of 31 appearances for Sporting CP at the start of his career, where he scored five goals and provided six assists. He won a Portuguese Super Cup with the Portuguese club. For Real Madrid, CR7 made a total of 438 appearances in all competitions, scoring 450 goals and providing 131 assists for the club. Ronaldo was in Madrid from 2009 to 2018, where he won four Champions League, three FIFA Club World Cups, two La Liga titles, three UEFA Super Cups, and two Spanish Super Cups.

Ronaldo did not make many appearances in Sporting CP compared to Real Madrid, but he has a strong connection with the club since it was his first professional club, where he played for many years as a youth player. Real Madrid is arguably equally as special since he became a legend of the game while mostly wearing the white shirt, winning many trophies throughout his time in Spain. Fans believe there has been bad tension between Ronaldo and Real Madrid recently, and this may be proof that the Portuguese striker does not care much about them anymore.
