Mexico National Team was able to earn 7 out of the 9 available points on the past FIFA Match Window, achieving the goal that was set for Gerardo “Tata” Martino to stay as their coach, although the way they were achieved wasn’t convincing, as they look lost and rely on individualities.
Martino might lose one of his favorite players, as he’s thinking of retiring
But El Tri still has to face the last World Cup Qualifiers, where they’ll receive USMNT, visit Honduras and close in Estadio Azteca against El Salvador before having a spot guaranteed in Qatar 2022 and for Martino to know what the future holds for him.
In FMF they’re not sure if the Argentinean coach is the best fit for El Tri in the upcoming World Cup, which is why they’re still pondering options. One of their favorite options is the former USMNT coach, Jürgen Klinsmann, given his successful stints with USMNT and Germany MNT.
Gerardo Martino will be in El Tri’s dugout at least until the last FIFA match window ends, but if Klinsmann is up to the challenge, his first decision will be to call Javier “Chicharito” Hernández, as he knows that El Tri needs a striker with his abilities.
He learned that El Tri would face Argentina and is ready to wear the Aztec colors
