Cristiano Ronaldo has a different approach to an Al Nassr match, as he left a message to the referee before the game started. Ronaldo shouts at the referee and gestures that he will keep quiet during the game. This is because of the recent games for Al Nassr, where Ronaldo has shown a lot of anger towards the referees in the Saudi Pro League. The Portuguese striker has exploded with rage in recent weeks with many referees during Al Nassr matches, but Ronaldo does not want to face another suspension or pay another fine for his behavior. The Al Nassr players laughed at Ronaldo's gesture, and the referee appreciated knowing that the Portuguese star would try his best not to shout at him.

Al Nassr is playing against Al Khaleej in the Saudi Pro League, and this is Ronaldo's first match since he received a red card against Al Hilal in the Saudi Super Cup semi-final. The match was infamous for Ronaldo as he kept screaming at the referee and almost made a huge mistake by hitting a ball at the referee. Ronaldo was suspended for one game, and Al Hilal got the last laugh by beating Al Nassr 2-1.

Ronaldo missed Al Nassr's 3-1 win over Al Fayha due to the suspension he received for the red card against Al Hilal. Al Nassr was losing 1-0 against Al Fayha in the first six minutes, but Abdulelah Al Amri and two Sadio Mane goals turned the game around to give the team the win. Ronaldo returns to the pitch against Al Khaleej away from home before the King's Cup semifinal against Al Khaleej again.
