David Beckham gives another clue as to who could join Inter Miami with Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez as he poses for a picture with Atletico Madrid's Antoine Griezmann. Beckham posted a picture of him with Griezmann on his Instagram story with the caption, "So good to meet you, my friend, Finally," and tagged the French star. Many assume that Beckham could poetically reunite Messi, Suarez, and Griezmann at Inter Miami since they three played together at FC Barcelona a couple of years ago. Griezmann has hinted in the past that he would enjoy playing in the MLS since he likes the culture there and follows American sports like the NBA and the NFL.

In 2018, Griezmann explained his admiration of the United States due to the mindset they have in sports. He also likes that if he were to go there, no one would recognize him in comparison to Europe. Griezmann then leaves the bombshell words that he would like to finish his career in the US at the MLS. Griezmann also said in the past that if Beckham wants him to join his club, he would be willing to go.

Griezmann played at FC Barcelona from 2019 to 2022. During that time, the French attacker played 102 matches for the Catalan club where he registered 35 goals and 17 assists. He played a total of 48 combined games with Luis Suarez during his career at FC Barcelona and Atletico Madrid. Griezmann played 85 matches with Messi at FC Barcelona. A match where they all scored in the same game was during a 3-1 win against Borussia Dortmund at Camp Nou in the Champions League in 2019.

Antoine Griezmann's stats with Atletico Madrid this season

Griezmann has made 43 appearances in all competitions for Atletico Madrid this season. He has scored 21 goals and provided eight assists this season. Despite the good season the French players have had, Atletico Madrid is in danger of not qualifying for next season's Champions League as they are fourth with 61 points but only two points ahead of 5th place Athletic Bilbao. The two sides will face each other today in La Liga at the Estadio Civitas Metropolitano, which could determine which of the two teams will make the Champions League next season.
