The Rojiblancos are now looking to convince another of the key elements in the squad since he arrived in 2015.

Chivas de Guadalajara closed the renewal of Alexis Vega with the sole mission of achieving the success that both the fans and the board expect by winning a title and laying the foundations of a highly effective project, but there are still some elements that require a review of their contracts in order to continue along the same line.

This player is ready to leave Chivas even if they become Liga MX champions

The Rebaño Sagrado has in its ranks the man of the moment, not only because of the media coverage of his situation, which took 10 months to be finalized but also because of the five goals he has accumulated and the same number of assists in the Clausura 2022 Tournament, being key to give an important turn to the complicated situation that started under the orders of Marcelo Leaño.

However, it is a fact that he will not be the only element that can take on the responsibility of trying to put Chivas in the place it deserves, as there are other leaders in the squad who carry the weight of fulfilling expectations and leading the younger players to perform as expected on and off the field.

Which player would Chivas renew?

After the Rojiblancos did not reach an agreement with Raúl Gudiño to keep him in the institution after this Clausura 2022, there are other elements that do wish to remain in the team and one of them is midfielder Isaac Brizuela, one of the most regular elements in recent years, who has acted as captain since Jesús Molina's absence.

The “Conejo" arrived at the Rebaño in 2015 and his professionalism has allowed him to earn the affection and respect of the fans, which is why everything points to the fact that he will soon reach an agreement to remain in the Rojiblancos since his contract expires at the end of 2022 and if they fail to sign him before the end of the summer he could hear offers, but the love he feels for the team has always been his priority, even on occasion he stated that he wishes to finish his career in Verde Valle.

Brizuela is about to reach 300 games with Chivas

Isaac Brizuela has been one of the most consistent players at El Rebaño since his arrival in the 2014/2015 season from Toluca. The U.S.-born but Mexico-raised player has played 289 games with the Rojiblanca jersey and has scored 26 goals, in addition to providing 33 assists.
