And no one can blame the Universitarios fans, as the club filled them with excitement in the first two rounds of the tournament, during which they remained at the top of the competition.

In those first 2 Rounds the Universitarios looked dominant and easily defeated Toluca in Round 1 with a score of 5-0, and then beat Pachuca with a score of 1-3 in Round 2.

But disaster struck in their third match against Tigres, who exposed the club's limitations by beating them 1-2 in Ciudad Universitaria.

And from that point on, the club began to falter with irregularity to end the tournament with 6 wins, 4 draws, and 7 defeats, to be eliminated in the playoffs by Chivas, with a score of 4-1.

As a result, the fans are already calling for heads to roll and even though two players will be leaving the club, the fans are asking for more.

The two heads that rolled at Pumas UNAM

It was announced today that Sebastián Saucedo and José Rogerio de Oliveira, who was released by the institution today, are leaving the team, and although the fans are not happy with the departure of the Brazilian, they are celebrating the departure of the American player of Mexican descent, who plays as a left-winger.

This is because Saucedo was always seen by the fans as an overrated player and was usually not important in Andres Lillini's game plan, unlike José Rogério.

However, at the end of the tournament, the Brazilian's performance went down and Dinneno became more important in the club. And although these two players will no longer be part of the Auriazul team, the fans are calling for more dismissals.

Just when the dismissal of these two Pumas UNAM players was announced through social networks, fans flocked to these publications to ask for more heads of players who did not contribute anything to the club, according to the comments posted in the publications.

The players that the fans want out of the club are Washington Corozo, who was said by Auriazules fans to contribute nothing to the attack. There were also calls for the head of Efraín Velarde, who was said to be grateful for his contribution to the club, but who no longer has the physical strength to compete at the highest level.

Omar Islas was also said to be too much for the club and Fabio Álvarez was said to have had a few sparks during the tournament, but his contribution to the team was minimal.
