Guillermo Barros Schelotto is facing one of his worst moments as a head coach. Los Angeles Galaxy, coached by the Argentinian, lost 6-3 against Portland Timbers and stands at the last position of the western conference, with just 15 points earned in the same amount of matches played.
Against Portland, LA Galaxy lost their fifth game in a row which marks a negative streak for Guillermo since he arrived at the American club: he has never lost so many consecutively. Until now, the major amount of defeats that he suffered at Galaxy was last year, when he lost in a row against NY Red Bull, Columbus Crew, New York City FC and Colorado Rapids.
But in his new negative streak the team from California lost against Colorado Rapids, Real Salt Lake, Seattle Sounders FC, San Jose Earthquakes and Timbers in a row. As if it wasn't enough to defeat for six goals was the biggest that he suffer since he arrived to the club, only comparable to the one against Los Angeles FC in July of last year (6-2).
Guillermo Barros Schelotto is in a crucial moment in the MLS, but he still thinks that his team will make to the playoffs zone, or at least that is what he said in an optimistic message after the unforgettable defeat of this Wednesday.
