Only '15 minutes passed in the game between Minnesota United against FC Cincinnati last Saturday night when the veteran Kei Kamara executed a penalty that ended in goal to break and all-time record in the MLS. With that goal the striker became the first in the story of the league scoring for eight different teams.
As he celebrated his 130th goal in the MLS he also passed a large list of players who scored for six different teams, such as Alejandro Moreno, Chad Barrett, Dominic Oduro, Atiba Harris, Andy Williams, Sebastian Le Toux and Alan Gordon.
Kamara played all his career in the MLS, except the year that he was sold to Middlesbrough. In his 36 years he achieved to score with Columbus Crew SC, San Jose Earthquakes, Houston Dynamo, Sporting KC, New England Revolution, Vancouver Whitecaps, and Colorado Rapids.
At the end, Minnesota United defeated FC Cincinnati 2-0 in Week 15 and climbed to the fourth position in the western conference, entering the playoffs zone.
