The European champion had to suffer more than what they planed, but they defeated Lokomotiv 1-2 in Moscow for week 2 of the UEFA Champions League's Group A. With goals scored by Leon Goretzka and Joshua Kimmich, Hans-Dieter Flick's team got the 13th win on a row at Champions League level.

They have set a new record. No other team before has won 13 games on a row in the Champions League. This is not the only record hold by Flick's Bayern; back in September 25th, when the defeated Sevilla 2-1 in the European Supercup, they achieved their 23rd in a row in all competitions, setting a new record for all the teams of the five most important European leagues. The past record belonged to Carlo Ancelotti's Real Madrid, with 22 wins in 2014.

The record of more triumphs at European level in all competitions belong to Atlético de Madrid, with 16. This means that Bayern Munich is three wins away from beating a new amazing record. Nothing seems to show that achieving that record is imposible for this team, which looks like the best in the world.

In addition, it must be said that Bayer Munich didn't used their usual starting line up today. Most of the players that were coming back from international duties with their national teams rested, together with the players that are coming out of injuries, like Leroy Sané or Serge Gnabry
