Silvester Van der Water had an offer on the table to arrive to the MLS. However, his actual club Heracles Almelo seems to have another plans for him.

Silvester Van der Water has been one of the major interests in the summer transfer market for Orlando City Soccer Club. A few hours ago, the MLS franchise approached Heracles Almelo, the attacking-winger's club, a new offer but finally the Dutch team decided to end negotiations. "We don't want to lose more players at this time," they explained.

Tim Glissen, Heracles Almelo's head coach, explained that the offer wasn't enough and both parts reached an agreement of ending negotiations for some time. For instance, Eredivisie is about to start and the Dutch club is trying to keep the most quantity of first players as possible.

For Van der Water, it was a tempting situation as players of the quality of Kaká have already made their experience in Orlando City. Moreover, he had said that he was "open to a new transfer fee. Inside Netherlands or abroad", so it won't be passing through much time until we can see him arriving at the MLS.
