The clash between LAFC and LA Galaxy could now meet to players formed at Chivas.

The past season was great for LAFC and a complete disaster for LA Galaxy. The team that has Carlos Vela made it to the MLS Cup Playoffs while his rivals didn’t and also lost El Trafico 2-1. Galaxy are now working hard to recover themselves after the departure of head coach Guillermo Barros Schelotto.

With Chicharito Hernández as one of the unique top players of the team and the possible departure of Cristian Pavón, who is at loan, the MLS side is looking forward to making a signing. After a lot of rumors, the player that is set to move to LA Galaxy is Javier Eduardo López, known as La Chofis.

After some undisciplined acts at Chivas, both coach Víctor Vucetich and sport adviser Ricardo Peláez decided to axe him from the squad. Even though he has a contract remaining until June 2022 he won’t be playing once again, and he is looking for a new club to sign him.

There are many teams asking for him. At Liga MX, Monterrey and Mazatlán Fútbol Club did so and on the U.S. not just LA Galaxy but Nashville SC did the same. Aged 26, he has a reported value of $3 million but as Chivas want to let him out, he may be leaving for less and signing a better contract at his new side.
