Jurgen Klopp's manager seat has been as heated as ever. The German coach started the season with a lot of trouble in Anfield and the press even started to doubt if he could stand as Liverpool's manager anymore. Even some pointed out he could be cursed since it's his seventh year as the Reds leader.

According to urban legend, Klopp has been cursed as a manager. Every time he gets to the seventh year in a team, that year is destined to be the worst of all. And coincidentally, he just got to that tally in the first weeks of October. But it seems that legend is just rubbish since the Reds have just found momentum once more and beaten two important rivals in the Premier League: Manchester City and West Ham United.

The only competition they hadn't had much trouble with is the UEFA Champions League. Besides their terrible beginning against Napoli, they have managed to win three games against Rangers (twice) and one victory over Dutch monarch, Ajax. At least in Europe, Liverpool has shown its true capabilities.

The harsh reality, far from the best coaches

Recently Steven Gerrard was just sacked as Aston Villa manager, and the ex-Liverpool legend's team was defeated 3-0 by Fulham. This result was just the final straw for the Villains board, since the team has just got over nine points of the 33 available so far this season, just getting to the 17th position in the Premier League. The worst part of all is that this stops his ambition to be one candidate to replace German manager Jurgen Klopp at Anfield Road. Klopp has said he won't be Liverpool's manager after his contract expires (2024).
