Kylian Mbappé is regarded as the fastest football player in the world and even one of the fastest athletes in the world. Although he is very fast, Olympic legend Usain Bolt challenged him to a charity race to determine who the fastest athlete is. Bolt has challenged Mbappé to a 100-meter race and says he can't beat him but wants to see how close he could get to matching him. Mbappé has accepted the challenge, but the PSG star doesn't think he has a chance at beating Bolt in a race.

During Mbappé's Nike event in Paris yesterday, the French star was asked about the challenge Bolt had proposed to him. Mbappé reacted to the race challenge and said, "He’s [Bolt] a very admirable person […] now, there’s no chance, I don’t think I’d beat him (laugh). Maybe one day when we both have the time (to have a race), but I’m not expecting much from the result (of that race)." Bolt holds the world record for a time of 9.58 seconds in a 100m race, while Mbappé has been timed to reach that distance at around 10.9 seconds.

Mbappé is known for his pace on the pitch, and he torments defenders with his skills. This season with PSG, Mbappé made 45 appearances in all competitions, scoring 43 goals and providing ten assists. In Ligue 1, he has scored 26 goals and provided seven assists in 28 league matches. In the Champions League, Mbappé played 11 matches with PSG, scoring eight goals. The French star is one game away from reaching the Champions League final that will take place in Wembley Stadium, where they will play Bayern Munich or Real Madrid if they get passed by Borussia Dortmund.

Mbappé and PSG have beaten Dortmund 2-0 on two occasions in Paris in the Champions League but lost twice in Germany and drew one time, which was earlier this season.
