Great part of their performance belongs to an outstanding soccer level of Nicolás Lodeiro. Could the Uruguayan be this year's MVP?
Last night, the team coached by Brian Schmetzer won their second game in a row. Lodeiro scored a brace after two penalty kicks perfectly executed. The 31-year-old attacking midfielder has been determinant in every Seatle Sounders game and he is outlined as one of the MVP candidates.
After eleven games played, he scored four times and also made four assists. Due to that fact, it was a real surprise for Lodeiro and everyone in Uruguay that Oscar 'Maestro' Tabárez didn't call him for the National Team in the next World Cup Qualyfing stage that will star in October.
