Raúl Jiménez knows that the upcoming months will be crucial for him to recover the level that he had prior the head injury that he suffered, not only to help his team, but also because he needs to be at the best shape of his life for the 2022 FIFA World Cup.

Jiménez was the top scorer for Wolverhampton Wanderers with six goals throughout the season, a number that shows how poor the season was for Wolves, which is why they are considering making him transferable over the summer.

The 31-year-old Mexican striker knows that the summer transfer window will be a good opportunity for him to have a fresh start and recover his form elsewhere prior Qatar, and he could already find the team where he will play next season.

The only downside for him is that he will receive a lower salary, as he will earn $500,000 less than what he’s perceiving now, given that Wolves had to go through budget cuts given that the team didn’t classify to any European tournament for next season.
