It is difficult not to mention Oribe “Cepillo” Peralta without remembering his moments in Mexican soccer. From that historic Olympic medal in London with México, to that monumental failure in the Liga MX final in a match that could have meant an historic title for Club América on the Institution's Centennial Day.
Chivas is looking to add a new striker for next season, but he’s worse than Oribe Peralta
Currently, several reports indicate that there is no offer for Oribe Peralte in Mexican soccer. Not even in Liga de Expansion MX. His decline may have started since his departure to Chivas de Guadalajara. A transfer that generated a lot of controversy as he was considered an idol and reference of the capital club.
It is important to remember that the player announced his retirement at the beginning of 2022, just after finishing his contract with Chivas de Guadalajara. However, it was expected that he would have some position within the institution. This situation never materialized. Since then, he has been linked to different institutions, but without ever reaching a conclusion.
In an exclusive interview of Oribe Peralta with journalist Javier Alarcón, the former Chivas player informed that he will dedicate his time to his home sales company. A business to which he invested a lot and now it can be the great livelihood for his years of inactivity in soccer. However, during the last few days, "Cepillo" has reportedly visited the facilities of renowned Mexican soccer clubs. Still, nothing has materialized so far.
