The Uruguayan striker humiliated his ex-head coach and unleashed a wat between the Spanish sides.

Luis Suárez made one of the most polemic transfers in soccer history, after being axed from FC Barcelona to join Atlético Madridfor free on September 2020. The Uruguayan striker wanted to stay at the Catalan side, in which he was a one of the all-time top scorers, but the ex-president Josep María Bartomeu and the head coach Ronald Koeman axed him.

Since his arrival at Atlético Madrid, he scored nine goals and gave two assists after 16 games played and is one of the best players from the team that is leading LaLiga this season. Diego Simeonefound on him the perfect no. 9 and make him play from the very beginning.

But Suárez took revenge from those who once decided to kick him and now is between the four maximum scorers from LaLiga, with nine goals. Lionel Messi is leading that table with 11 goals scored, while Gerard Moreno is the second one with 10. But the revenge of Suárez has been perfect as it puts Barça in shame.

Counting the goals scored by the three players with which Barcelona intended to replace him, Ousmane Dembélé, Antoine Griezmann and Martin Braithwaite, they can’t reach the amount scored by Suárez. At his 33 years, the no. 9 is still one of the best players in the world and wants to help his new team gaining important titles.
