Cristiano Ronaldo will earn up to £25m in wages in his final season at Juventus. He is currently on a weekly wage of £540,000. He is by far the highest earner in the Italian Serie A.

Sources report that Juventus are going to bite down on a bitter pill and keep Cristiano Ronaldo at the club for the coming season. The talismanic forward has just 1 year left on his contract, as he's set to become a free agent by next summer.

However, the Bianconneri would take their chances rather than lose a proven goalscorer this season. The Old Ladies would hope that Ronaldo decides to extend his stay beyond 2022. Either way, Allegri, Ronaldo and the rest of the squad are ready to push hard in the UEFA Champions League and to reclaim the Serie A title.

This will come at some cost though as the Old Ladies will continue to pay the Portugal International's massive wages for the next 12 months. The 5-time Ballon d'Or winner is reportedly on weekly wages amounting to £540,000. He is by far the highest earner in the Italian League.

Ronaldo's deal with Juventus will cost the club up to £25m in wages over the next year. Also, they'll be losing any potential millions that interested clubs would pay this season if they're to sign the former Real Madrid player.

Thus, Ronaldo's final season at Juventus will hypothetically cost the club side about £75m. They will hope that the 5-time Champions League winner will help them deliver the holy grail this season to make this decision the wise one.
