A thousand games as a manager is such a huge feat that is commendable, A management career that began in Preston in 1998 when he was just 34, David Moyes will be joining leagues of respected coaches around the world that have crossed the landmark of a thousand games on Sunday against Liverpool. 

 

Fortunately for him, he will be playing at home against Liverpool and a win will see West Ham move a point above Liverpool and it will be a great way for the manager to celebrate his landmark achievement.

 

Moyes at West Ham may be described as a walk to redemption, his work at Everton has not been praised enough following his unpleasant spell at Manchester United. But at West Ham he has found his level again and this seems to be the biggest moment in his career, he finished top eight last season and tally his best record in the league at 65 points. 

 

Other coaches that have surpassed the landmark include Sir Alex Ferguson, Jose Mourinho and Arsene Wenger just to mention but a few, this is a worthy achievement for David Moyes considering his achievement at West Ham and a bright future.
