Former Italian footballer, and world champion, Andrea Pirlo is going to continue his managing career in Turkey, the former Juventus manager´s second team in his career is going to be Fatih Karagumruk SK from Turkey´s top tier.

Pirlo´s time in Juventus finished after he was sacked in May 2021 after leading the former Italian Champions to the fourth place in Seria A in his managerial debut.
The 43-year-old has signed a one-year contract with the Istanbul-based Super Lig club, starting on July 1.“Happy to start a new adventure. Thank you Karagumruk SK,” the former Italy international said on Twitter.
The club was founded in 1926 but started playing in Turkeys competitions until 1933, they were one of the founders of de Turkey Super Lig in 1959 but they got relegated in 1963, then they were promoted again 20 years later, but only lasted one season. Recently they returned to Superlig in 2020 after 41 years and last season they finished in 8th place.
