Manchester United have PSG manager Mauricio Pochettino high up on the list of their potential coaches to replace Ralf Rangnick at the end of the season when his interim role expires and he moves up into the boardroom in a consultancy role.

Pochettino is highly rated by Manchester United and his name was chorused to replace Ole Gunnar Solskjær when things were rough and Pochettino was unemployed after being sacked by Tottenham but it never happened and he was hired by PSG instead.

Ole Gunnar Solskjær has now been sacked and Ralf Rangnick appointed in an interim role until the end of the season. Manchester United have shortlisted Mauricio Pochettino, Erik Ten Hag, Brendan Rodgers amongst others but Pochettino is highly favoured.

According to Team Talk, PSG will demand his release clause in the region of €15-20m to let him leave and also prepare a quality replacement. The club would also want to have a replacement in place before allowing him to move and Zinedine Zidane is believed to be wanted by the Paris club.
