Barcelona manager Ronald could be sacked if he loses El Clasico and matches an unwanted record set 85 years ago.

Ronald Koeman's time at Barcelona is always a topic of discussion, today he's under pressure, another day he's safe on the job after a few good results but his time could run down one day and he eventually gets the sack, and today could be one of those days, possibly the day.

Barcelona are currently taking on Real Madrid at the Camp Nou in the first El Clasico of the 2021/22 season and based on form Real Madrid are the favourites for the match. It is the first El Clasico that both teams don't have either Cristiano Ronaldo or Lionel Messi in their team.

Ronald Koeman lost his first two El Clasico against Zinedine Zidane last season and if he loses again this time against Carlo Ancelotti, it would mean he has lost three El Clasico in a row and match a record of 85 years.

The last time Barcelona lost three El Clasico in a town was the 1935/36 season, that's 85 years ago and the manager was Patrick O'Connell. Barcelona may not be merciful if that happens and could sack Ronald Koeman.
