A good coach knows his team in all its aspects. This happened to Savarese in the game against LAFC, when his players relaxed in a cooling break and changed the attitude with which they were playing the game. After the defeat, he did not hesitate to mark that distraction to his players.

"After the water break in the first half, I think we felt too comfortable and we concede three, say, goals that’s not positive. Again, we say the same thing, we need to make sure that we have matches that are complete like the one we played Seattle", explained the Timbers coach after the game.

Then, the coach explained in detail what he noticed: “The change was just the mentality, that’s all because if we continue to do the same thing we did in the first 30 minutes and the majority of the second half there’s no way that we concede this amount of goals in the way we did in these 15 minutes”.
