Manchester United has made an official announcement stating the sacking of the club manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer after a long run of form. This came as not a surprise after a 4-1 defeat to Watford.

Club legend Michael Carrick has been told to take over the managerial position as a caretake until a replacement is found. Out of job former Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane is the favourite to replace Ole but may not honour the contract until summer.

PSG coach Mauricio Pochettino is another candidate that is tipped to take up the biggest role at Old Trafford. Zidane is a veteran when it comes to winning trophies, he won three UEFA Champions League for Real Madrid, two La Liga, two Spanish Super Cup, two UEFA Super Cup, two FIFA Club World Cup and he was world best coach twice.

Mauricio Pochettino is actually not Manchester United man considering the fact that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was sacked for not winning any trophy and Pochettino cabinet is as good as empty having won just two trophies in his managerial career, A French Cup and A French Super Cup both at PSG. Zidane is the man Manchester United is looking for, an expert at delivering trophies but will it come through?
