Saudi Public Investment Fund (PIF) took over the ownership of Premier League club Newcastle United and the acquisition, their plans and their transfer budget has been a topic of discussion for months now.
One of the initial concerns was if Steve Bruce would be sacked and he was as the owners wanted to give the club a new look in lieu of their recent performances which has made the club remain winless in 11 Premier League games.
Newcastle have now appointed former Bournemouth boss Eddie Howe who has immediately began work at the club's training facilities. The 43year old has spent most of this time playing for Bournemouth and also managed them.
He was sacked after the club were relegated two seasons ago and are yet to make a breakthrough and now he's Newcastle United manager, for a club who must first avoid relegation this season and then solidify plans, a manager like Eddie Howe is not the best the club needs
