Who wouldn’t take the risk to resign to a team when dreaming with a chance in Real Madrid? Or better said, another chance. Despite giving up on a $16.44 million salary, this coach was thinking about replacing Zinedine Zidane, but not his destination could change.

Former Real Madrid coach Rafa Benítez left Dalian Pro on January 23, his former team is one of the main characters in the Chinese Superleague. After the rumours that talked about a possible sacking of Zinedine Zidane, he left his position. Allegedly, he had felt the chosen man to replace his French colleague.

Despite that, Benítez stated he had resigned to be closer to his family, given the undergoing difficult situation in world’s health. Despite he was dreaming to arrive to Madrid for a second spell, future could have a surprise for him. He had coached the White House at the first half of 2015-2016 season.

Now, he could replace another famous coach, however it’s not in Spain, but in France. According to Spanish newspaper As, Benítez is a strong contender to replacer Portugal’s André Villas-Boas, who has just resigned from his position at Olympique Marseille, after a hard confrontation with the board due to the transfer market. The club signed former Napoli’s striker Arkadiusz Milik without his approval.
