Finally one of the bombs in the transfer market is done, as club Tigres UANL has announced the hiring of Paraguayan striker Carlos González, who used to play with Pumas UNAM, since the last five tournaments, and with he reached the league final of the Liga MX Guardianes 2020 Apertura against Club Leon.

Carlos González arrives to compete with Fernandez and to be partner with Andre Pierre Gignac. At this time Club Tigres  is classified for the semifinals of the Concacaf Champions League after defeat the Club New York City. The rival in semifinals will be  the Honduran team of Olimpia.

The Paraguayan forward, who is part of the national team of his country, began his professional career in the Chilean soccer with the Club Magallanes, Club Santiago Wanderers and Club Huachipato. His arrival in Mexico occurred in 2017 when he was signed by Club Rayos del Necaxa. The striker arrives at Club Tigres with an impressive number as he has 117 games played with a record of 45 goals scored.

It is expected then that Club Tigres board will announce in the next few days who are the players who will leave the team in order to recover the 6 million dollars that they paid for Carlos Gonzalez. The main options that would come out are Julian Quiñones, who is not considered anymore by the manager Ferreti and probably Luis Quiñones, despite of the great game he gave in CONCACAF.  With this, Club Tigres begins to form a very dangerous offensive lead by Gignac, Gonzalez, Fernandez and Lopez.
