In an interview, Lionel Messi said something that Ronald Koeman will not like, but will feel like a vindication for FC Barcelona fans.

Lionel Messi showed his intimate side in an exclusive interview he gave to La Sexta, to be fully released tomorrow. The GOAT opened up and talked about him and things that happened in his long and successful career. But some extracts were revealed so we know what will be coming up tomorrow.

Messi was asked about his coaches and his answer, a bit expected but still important, let Ronald Koeman, his current coach and the one he is having a tricky relationship with, completely ignored. FC Barcelona fans will agree with his reply, showing his feelings and theirs are the same.

The question was about the best coach he had in his career at his club, and he said Pep Guardiola was the best. Messi said he was special. The way he prepares the matches, the attack and the defense is something unique. The Argentinian also praised Luis Enrique, and told they made him a better player.

With both managers, Lionel Messi won UEFA Champions League, in 2009 and 2011 with the former and in 2015 with the latter. The other time was in 2006 under Frank Rijkaard, the coach who took him into the first team. But the spells of Guardiola and Luis Enrique were the most successful, and those are the ones the fans remember fondly.
