The defender is Grant Lillard, who arrives with another curious exchange within this transfer window. The player has come in exchange for a third-round pick in the 2021 MLS SuperDraft. This signing will help Colombus Crew SC in their defense. 
It appears that the financial aspect for many clubs in MLS is not the most important. They also negotiate benefits that other teams can lend them. Colombus Crew SC and Inter Miami CF are preparing their best for their return to MLS.
