Real Madrid's performance against RB Leipzig in the Champions League wasn't the only bad thing football fans talked about that was poor. Vinicius Jr. has been involved in aggressive exchanges with opposition players on the pitch. The Brazilian is constantly fouled and fights back against players who he feels disrespected on the pitch. This has questioned his attitude in general, and some football fans believe he is too emotional and childish. The conversation sparked more after an incident during the RB Leipzig game in the Champions League a few days ago.

Vinicius Jr tried to press and steal the ball from RB Leipzig center-back Willi Orban. Oban was quicker than Vinicius and made a pass before Vinicius got to him. The Brazilian pushed him down and started to talk to Orban. The discussion escalated, and Vinicius pushed Orban down by touching his neck. After the game, Orban and his teammate Benjamin Henrichs spoke about the incident.

Henrichs said, "If it had happened the other way around and one of our players went for the neck of a Real Madrid player, then he'd be sent off, 100%." Orban spoke about the situation and said, "The referees don't have the balls to put such players down. He grabs my neck with both hands. This is disrespectful.” Many football fans expected the Brazilian to receive a red card for aggression, but he only received a yellow card.

Carlo Ancelotti spoke in a press conference ahead of their next La Liga match against Celta De Vigo tomorrow. Ancelotti was asked about Vinicius' attitude, and the Italian coach defended him.

Ancelotti says the attitude should change towards Vinicius Jr

Carlo Ancelotti described how Vinicius has been provoked and defended by the Brazilian. Ancelotti said, "Well, the Vinicius issue...I have looked a little back in history at the statistics, and there is no player as persecuted as Vinicius: they kick him, they whistle at him, they insult him...what does he do? He scores goals and gives us assists. And do I have to talk to him because of his attitude? No. I think everyone has to change their attitude towards him."

Ancelotti continues and says, "People forget, but I don't: in Vallecas, they gave him a karate blow, and there was not even a warning, and now everyone is asking for a red card for a push against Leipzig.”
