Cristiano Ronaldo joined Saudi Arabian club Al Nassr in 2023 and since has been the face of the team and the Saudi Pro League. Although he has performed great on the pitch, the Portuguese striker may not appreciate the opposition fanbases and the officiating in the league. This led to rumors of him leaving Saudi Arabia soon. CR7 had options outside of Saudi Arabia, like Mexico with Monterrey CF, the USA with Inter Miami, and Germany with Bayer Leverkusen. However, his girlfriend, Georgina Rodriguez, stated the opposite about living there. Rodriguez said, "I love Riyadh and its people, and I feel their sincere love for Cristiano, my family, and me personally, and this is what I feel in all places and situations, and I become more certain of it as the days go by. We have adapted to the Saudi culture, and we live happily in this new chapter of our family life. We are truly spending the most wonderful time discovering this wonderful country, which I realized."

Rodriguez continues to praise the country of Saudi Arabia since it is a different culture than the one she experienced in her home country of Argentina and after spending years in Spain. Rodriguez said, "All the people we have met in this beautiful country so far have been wonderful, supportive, and very hospitable. I admit that moving to a new country, another language, and a different way of life is always a bit difficult, but the experience of discovering Saudi Arabia so far has been an amazing journey."

CR7's girlfriend revealed that life in Saudi Arabia is very accessible for her and her family, like in other places in the world. Rodriguez said, "I was surprised by the diverse landscapes and different areas, from beaches that are like heaven on earth, to desert areas like AlUla, through ultra-modern cities like Riyadh, where you can find everything you are looking for."

Many CR7 fans know about Cristiano Ronaldo Jr., who plays in the Al Nassr youth team and is on his way to becoming a professional footballer. Georgina talked about her son Matteo also potentially becoming a footballer in the future. Cristiano and I will be happier, of course, and our children will be lucky to have a father who supports and helps them."
