Sergio Ramos and Gerard Piqué are two of the most emblematic defenders from Spain history during the last decades. At Real Madrid and FC Barcelona respectively, they made incredible professional careers during the last years that may now make that they leave the Spanish sides.
Ramos will end his contract with the Galacticos on June 2021 and the chances of him moving are concrete. Paris Saint-Germain is one of the most interested clubs on signing him but the MLS has also many teams trying to convince him to move. The next months will be key to know what will be happening to him.
The situation of Piqué is different, but has some similitude. The defender renewed his contract with Barcelona until June 2024 recently but also appears in the radar of some MLS sides. Inter Miami is the club who has the biggest chances on signing both of them, even though we can’t yet affirm that will be happening.
If Ramos and Piqué move, it is expected that the one of Real Madrid will have the biggest contract. U.S. press report that he is more likely to earn a higher salary than the one of Piqué, considering the shirts he may sell and his sports competitiveness.
