The player traveled to Buenos Aires due to personal problems.

The novel between Cruz Azul, 'Pol' Fernández, and Boca Juniors looks set to have more chapters in the coming days to define the future of the midfielder who still plays for Los Cementeros.

Different sources believe that in the next week the Argentineans will launch an offer for Fernández's services to try to seal the player's return to Buenos Aires.

One of the sources confirmed that the Xeneizes directors have been in contact with Fernandez for several days to try to convince him to return to La Bombonera and live a second stage with the club.

The same source said that Fernandez does not see with bad eyes to return to his country, but it will not be a decision in his hands until next summer when he will be a free player and has asked them to contact Cruz Azul.

The exchange between 'Pol' Fernández and Christian Pavón is still alive

It is not ruled out that the new offer prepared by Boca could include the transfer of Cristian Pavón in order to try to reach an agreement, taking into account that "Kichan" is also free in the summer and the Argentineans do not want to be left empty-handed if the striker leaves in June when his contract expires.

At the moment, Cruz Azul maintains its position that 'Pol' Fernández will not leave the team and it is expected that he will be back in Mexico in the next few days to rejoin Juan Reynoso's team.

The Cementeros are aware of Boca Juniors' interest in their player but are confident that Fernandez will act ethically and return to the Celestes in a timely manner to be at the service of the Peruvian coach.
